Manchester Yogathon for Mental Health

21st of June 5pm–9pm BST

Manchester Yogathon for Mental Health

We are excited to announce our participation to the Yogathon organised by the Life Centre for the International Yoga Day, on the 21st of June.

Manchester's newest yoga studio The Life Centre North and local mental health charity 42nd Street are coming together to celebrate the longest day of the year with a 4 hour Yogathon on International Yoga Day.

42nd Street is a Greater Manchester charity that supports young people aged 11-25 years with their emotional wellbeing and mental health, promoting choice and creativity.

We will be hosting a pop-up stand with an exclusive 10% off our yoga clothes, from which 5% will go directly to 42nd Street to show our support.

The event aims to allow both devotees of yoga and complete novices to join together, in an activity which is open to all ages and abilities and to raise money for a great cause. Classes will be drop-in so you can join for as little or as much yoga as you like.

The Yogathon will take place in Great Northern Square at the front of the complex where Great Northern meets St Peter's street. There will be an indoor option but we're keeping our fingers crossed for sunshine.

What to wear? To practice Yoga, you want comfortable, breathable and stretchable clothes. Don’t forget to bring a layer, like a wrap, in case you get cold.

What to practice on? Don’t forget to bring a yoga mat!
